Poetter Hall was the original building that SCAD purchased and began teaching students. As the University grew, we remodeled the building into SCAD’s living museum. The remodel included saving many of the historic features of the building while adding intricate details to house SCADstory. We also added Shop Scad and renovated the upstairs ballroom which served as the University’s first library and is currently used to host events.
